The Dutch and Belgium Shepherd is better known in the USA as a law enforcement dog or Protection Sport dog. Many dogs that were imported into the USA in the past were unregistered dogs that had BRN Numbers. Also, sometimes generically referred as KNPV dogs.

Bloedlijnen is not a kennel club registration. They describe themselves as a “site you can find bloodlines of Europe’s finest Mix and Pedigree working dogs. This websites content is updated on a daily basis and can contain errors. We excuse ourselves for this.”

On this site you will find purebreds, but also many mixes. The purebreds will be identified by their kennel club registration. The mixes will be noted with an “X” preceding the breed they most closely resemble.
